As a performer and teacher, Avedis Manoogian has worked for string programs such as MacPhail Center for the Arts, Wisconsin String Academy, and the Suzuki Collaborative of Cincinnati Public Schools. As music director he has worked for many theaters and schools including Bedlam Theatre, Minneapolis Children’s Theater, Theatre de la Jeune Lune, Cincinnati College Conservatory, Cincinnati Opera, and Opera Guadalajara. In 2020 he returned home to Madison where he is on faculty at Madison Conservatory where he teaches piano and college prep in keyboard studies and music theory for musicians preparing for music school auditions.
